Ticarcillin disodium salt ≥85 %, for biochemistry
Ticarcillin belongs to the carboxy penicillin family, the only difference to carbenicillin being a group of a side chain. It is inactivated through β-lactamase. Ticarcillin inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis by inhibiting the transpeptidase.
