Product details
A high-molecular-weight polymeric flocculant based on polyacrylamide with a very high cationic charge. The product has been specifically developed for a wide range of applications in municipal and industrial wastewater and sludge treatment. It demonstrates exceptional performance in solid sedimentation, as well as in thickening and dewatering processes, and remains consistently effective across a broad pH range.
Cationic polyelectrolyte CF 3170 ROTI®Floc Granulate
The product was developed for a wide range of applications in municipal and industrial wastewater and sludge treatment. It demonstrates particularly high efficiency in the sedimentation of solids as well as in thickening and dewatering processes.
Cationic polyelectrolyte CF 3170 is typically used in a highly diluted form, with optimal effectiveness achievable only through proper dissolution and thorough mixing. To prevent the formation of lumps, the product should be introduced into the dissolving water with high turbulence. Subsequently, the entire tank content should be thoroughly mixed and visibly circulated.Recommended solution concentration: 0.20–0.50 %
Maximum solution concentration: 1.00%The effectiveness remains constant over a wide pH range.
Cationic polyelectrolyte CF 3170 is characterized by low corrosivity.Suitable materials: Stainless steel, fiberglass, polyethylene (HDPE), polypropylene (PP), and other rubber-lined surfaces.Unsuitable materials: Aluminum, copper, and galvanized surfaces.Environmental compatibility:The product meets the requirements of the German Fertilizer Ordinance (DÜMV) regarding the biodegradability of synthetic polymers. It degrades by more than 20% within 24 months, thus fulfilling the legal requirements according to § 10(4) Transitional Provisions, Annex 2, Table 7, Line 7.4.7 (as a starting material), and Annex 2, Table 8, Lines 8.1.3 or 8.2.9 (as a processing or application aid).
