Instructions for use: Add 15 g to 500 ml agar in distilled water. Mix well and dissolve when heated. After autoclaving, add a tube of OGA additive (order no.: 3L40.1).
For counting and isolating yeasts and molds in food.

OGA Agar Base is a selective culture medium for the isolation and enumeration of yeasts and molds in foodstuffs and cosmetics. It contains oxytetracycline, which inhibits the growth of bacteria without affecting fungi. The neutral pH suppresses acidophilic bacteria such as Lactobacillus.
