To test the concentration of the sodium hypochlorite solution, you need the following chemicals for a titration:

  • Acetic acid (Art. No. 6755)
  • Starch solution (Art. No. T133)
  • Potassium iodide (Art. No. 6750)
  • Water, demineralised (Art. No. 3175)
  • Sodium thiosulphate solution 0.1 mol/l (Art. No. K022)

Or for a determination by refractive index a corresponding instrument e.g. Art. No. ECL2.1. A comparison table is available at Hanna Instruments (German only), this can only serve as a guide due to the different model and cannot replace a titrimetric determination.
