General information

The TOC (total organic carbon) and TIC (total inorganic carbon) standards are produced from high-purity starting materials.
The sum parameter TOC is used in environmental analysis and is a measure of the content of organic carbon in air, soil or water samples. Inorganic carbon includes dissolved carbonates, hydrogen carbonates, carbonic acid and carbon dioxide and is part of the total carbon in a sample.
These reference standards are manufactured and tested under the conditions of ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 17034. The batch-specific certificates of analysis are available online.
