Buffer solution composed of PBS with the addition of the non-ionic detergent Tween® 20. Since detergents are known to reduce non-specific protein-protein interactions, PBST is preferably used as basic solution during Western blotting, ELISA or other immunochemical assays.
Prepared solution may be sterilized by filtration (0,22 µm). For long-term storage, buffer solution should be kept at +4 °C.
