  • Material thickness: 0.14 ±0.02 mm
  • Elasticity (25 °C): 300%
  • Tear strength (25 °C): 1.5 MPa
  • Melting temperature: >65 °C (151 °F)
  • Boiling point: >288 °C (550 °F)
  • Continuous service temperature: -20 to +46 °C
  • Toxicity: non-toxic

The sealing film can be stretched to three times its original length. This means that Seal-R-film™ always fits, even with irregular shapes. Traceability through batch identification per roll.


Gas permeability:

• CO2 (carbon dioxide) <1000 cm3/m2

• O2 (oxygen) <350 cm3/m

• Water vapour permeability <0.8 g/m2

(in 24 hours at room temperature and a pressure of 0.1 MPa)


Chemical resistance: ammonia (NH3) 28%; ethanol; isopropanol; iodine solution 0.1 mol/l (brown colouring); potassium permanganate (KMnO4) 5% (brown colouring); methanol; sodium chloride (NaCl) 20%; sodium hydroxide (NaOH) 22%; nitric acid (HNO3) 95% (brown colouring); hydrochloric acid (HCl) 36.5%; sulphuric acid (H2SO4) 98%; hydrogen peroxide (H202) 30%
