Pyridine, 1 l

From  Carl ROTH
ROTIPURAN® ≥99 %, p.a., ACS
Examples of effect: Flammable; liquids form compounds with the air which can become explosive; produce flammable gases with water or can self-combust. Safety: Keep away from open flames and sources of heat; close containers tightly; store in a fire-safe manner.
Examples of effect: Lead to damage to heath, cause irritation to eyes, skin or respiratory organs. Are fatal in larger quantities. Safety: As previously stated, in the event of skin irritation or contact with eyes, rinse with water or a suitable medium.

General information

Hydroxyl Value

The hydroxyl value is a measure of the hydroxy group content of organic materials such as paints, resins, polystyrenes, solvents and lipids. It represents the amount in milligrams of potassium hydroxide required to neutralise the quantity of acetic acid that combines on acetylation of one gram of the substance being tested.

Highest purity and extensive trace analysis for excellent results!

We offer:ROTIPURAN® p.a. solvents with superior analytical reliability in terms of quality and batch consistency. The so branded solvents arebeing constantly controlled, guaranteed, and safeguarded through careful preparation, testing and packaging. In addition, many of these solvents meet the requirements of ACS (American Chemical Society) and ISO (International Organization for Standardization), and thusare fully specified.

Applications:ROTIPURAN® p.a. solvents are suitable for all standard applications in biological and chemical laboratory or pilot plant, such as:extractions, qualitative and quantitative analysis. As a matter of course, the p.a. solvents offered here may well be used for otherapplications instead.

Increase the efficiency and precision of your HPLC and LC-MS analyses with Carl Roth’s high-purity solvents. Ideal for chemical and environmental analytical applications.

Advantages:

  • High purity & stability – for reproducible results
  • Minimal background noise – optimal sensitivity
  • Suitable for sensitive detectors – protects your instruments
  • Versatile use – ideal for HPLC, LC-MS, and environmental analyses
