Mogelijke gevolgen: vernietigen metalen en zijn bijtend voor lichaamsweefsel; ernstig oogletsel is mogelijk. Veiligheid: contact vermijden; veiligheidsbril en handschoenen dragen. Bij contact ogen en huid met water spoelen.
Mogelijke gevolgen: veroorzaken allergieën, kankerverwekkend (carcinogeen), verandering erfelijk materiaal (mutageen), brengt de voortplanting in gevaar en vruchtbeschadigend (reprotoxisch) of orgaanbeschadigend Veiligheid: voor het werk met dergelijke stoffen moet men zich goed informeren; veiligheidskleding en handschoenen, oog- en mondbescherming of adembescherming dragen.
Mogelijke gevolgen: zijn voor waterorganismen schadelijk, giftig of zeer giftig, acuut of met langdurige werking. Veiligheid: alleen met gevaarlijk afval afvoeren, in geen geval in het milieu laten terechtkomen.
