General information
Our viscosity standards are manufactured from high-quality reagents and tested using Ubbelohde Master Viscometers. All standards are tested for kinematic viscosity (mm²/s, cSt) as well as dynamic viscosity (mPa·s, cP) and density (g/ml) at different temperatures (20, 25, 40, 50, 60, 80 und 100 °C). They can be used for calibration, control, verification, qualification or method validation of kinematic and dynamic viscosity.
All common models and viscometer types can be tested, for example capillary, flow cup, rotational, falling ball, falling/rising object, Stabinger and vibrational viscometers.
All viscosity standards behave like a Newtonian fluid and are mineral oil-based. The batch specific Certificates of Analysis are available online.
