Quality and Environment

Certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and DIN EN ISO 14001:2015

It's official – We're DIN EN ISO 14001 certified!

For decades, the Carl Roth team has been committed to environmental protection.

We strive to conserve resources, which for us means economical, efficient and responsible handling of raw materials and energy. With innovative technology, we can significantly reduce the quantity of raw materials, waste volumes, electricity and water consumption, for example. The 2013 extension building in the Rhine harbour is a good example: ground collectors are installed there, which use geothermal energy for heating in winter and for cooling in summer.

Our participation in the ECO-Fit programme in 2014 laid the groundwork for our documented environment management system.

DIN EN ISO 14001:2015 certification helps us to promote active and sustainable environmental management and supports the company's individual responsibility.

It's done – The DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 revision has been implemented

Our quality management system was initially certified in 1995. The processes defined at that time have continuously developed over the last 20 years.

In January 2016 we decided to convert to the new revision of the ISO 9001 standard during the course of this year. This was a decision which was accepted by all employees as a sporting goal.

Together we integrated the new contents of the standard into our processes within 6 months. The result was a clearer and more structured process landscape through which our quality management system attains even greater importance in the company.

The benefit for you as a customer:

Defined process workflows with all modern monitoring functions enable a constant level of quality in our products and services.
