For the determination of microbial flora in beer fermentation processes and manufacturing
WL Broth, based on the Green and Grey formulation, is recommended for the control of industrial fermentations, particularly the manufacturing of beer. With a pH of 5,5 true counts of beer yeasts can be made. With a pH of 6,5 the medium is ideal for bakery and distilled spirit yeasts.
